Mr. Wash is the latest artist to be acquired into Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys’ Dean Collection!

Blood Trails was painted by Mr. Wash while he was in prison. In this fantastical self-portrait, he envisages his escape. Mr. Wash finds himself wounded after scaling a barbed wire fence, triggering a relentless pursuit. Bloodhounds, US Marshals, Bureau of Prisons officials, and local police are all hot on his trail, tracking his blood through the snow. Confronted by the primal threat of bloodhounds and the chilling echo of their howls, the artist must summon every ounce of courage to fight for his freedom and survival.
